Vincent (Vincey) NEWELL

The family of the late Vincent (Vincey) Newell would like to express their gratitude and appreciation, to all those who sympathised with them recently on their loss of a much loved brother, uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle, and friend.

Thank you to the paramedic from NIAS and the PSNI officers, who attended, for their kindness, consideration and the compassion and dignity shown throughout.

Thanks to all who called at the house, sent cards and attended mass and the cremation service.

Thank you to Fr McHugh PP Saintfield for the funeral mass and to Sionan Mullan for the beautiful music and singing.

A grateful thanks to all who made donations, in lieu of flowers, to RNLI Kilkeel and Southern Area Hospice.

To Norman, Mark, Donna and Barry, (Norman McBriar and Son Funeral Services), for your dignified, friendly, and very caring and considerate manner throughout, your guidance and organisation with us through all the necessary arrangements at this very difficult time.

To the Translink driver of Belfast 515 bus who stopped, enroute to the chapel, as a mark of respect, thank you. As all will know, buses were an almost everyday part of Vincey’s daily routine on his travels near and far.

We trust that this notice acts as acknowledgement of our sincere appreciation and thanks, with and to all.

Vincey’s memory will live forever on with his 6 brothers and sisters, his 16 nieces and nephews, 24 great nieces and nephews and 25 great-great nieces and nephews.

Vincey’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Monday 24th June @ 7.30 pm in Mary Mother of the Church, Saintfield.

Gone but never forgotten.
The Newell family.
