The death has occurred of:
Trevor LEWERS
The family circle of the late Trevor Lewers would like to express our deepest appreciation for everyone’s sympathy as we mourn his loss. The memories and stories shared during the wake and funeral, along with the many phone calls, flowers, donations, cards and deliveries of food meant a great deal to all of us. To those who gathered along the route to the Church, walked with the procession and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful.
We would like to say thank you to Cannon Paul Hoey for his pastoral care both at home and in hospital and for conducting the funeral service in St. Canices. Also a thank you to Robert Black who played the pipes to accompany Trevor’s final journey.
We would also like to thank all the medical teams involved in Trevor’s care who ensured he was comfortable and felt safe. These include; Altnagelvin (Ward 26), the Reablement team, Respitory team, the Marie Curie team and the palliative care team. To Dr Emma Casey and Nurse Sarah Frizzell from Eglinton Medical Practice, we wish to express our deep gratitude for giving support and care to Trevor above and beyond your duty.
Thanks to all at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for the dignified and sensitive manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
We would like to thank Willie Connelly of Solo Restaurant in Campsie for providing the refreshments after the funeral.
Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude for your continued support and love during this difficult time.
“I will love you always”
