We, the family of the late Tommy McGeown, Cookstown wish to extend our sincerest thanks to all who sympathised with us following the death of our much-loved father.

The thoughtfulness and support extended to us, through many acts of kindness by family, friends and colleagues was greatly appreciated and will always be remembered. Thank you to all who attended the wake, funeral, brought food, telephoned, sent cards or messages. Thank you to Chris, from the Dunleath Bar for kindly sending food to the family home during the wake.

We would like to extend our thanks to those who cared for our father in last weeks, we would like to thank Dr Brown and the Oak’s Family Practice for their excellent care. We would like to thank Michelle and the Cookstown District nursing team for their dedicated care. We would also like to thank the Armagh and Dungannon Community Respiratory Team and BOC home oxygen delivery team for their courteous and friendly service. Finally, we would like to thank the Domiciliary Care Service, including Michelle, Heather, Gemma, Joan, Suzie and Jemma, our father was very well looked after and as a family we are forever grateful.

We would like to thank Canon Porteus for the pastoral support provided to our father and family, and for conducting the funeral service, which was a touching celebration of our father’s life. We would also like to thank Jack and Roseanna Hunter for the beautiful singing and music provided during the funeral service.

Thank you to David Cranston, Holmes of Dungannon Funeral Directors, for the very dignified and professional way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. We also appreciated the consideration and support he provided throughout.

It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere appreciation of our gratitude to all who helped in any way.
