Died 14th April 2024, peacefully at the City Hospital, Belfast. Beloved husband of Mary, devoted father to Oonagh, Michael, and Ruairi. Cherished grandfather to Holly. Deeply regretted by the extended family circle.

Thomas will be resting at O’Kanes Funeral Directors, 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast. Telephone 02890 243129.

Funeral Service shall be held on Friday 19th April at 10.00am in St Brigid’s Church, Derryvolgie Avenue, Malone Road, Belfast.

Committal shall be at Roselawn Crematorium on Tuesday 23rd April, and this service is private and for family only.

It is difficult to find words to express our feelings of sadness and loss on the passing of Dear Tom. He was a warm and loving presence in all our lives. We had many happy times together. Tom was a friend and colleague to those who graduated from QUB Faculty of Medicine in 1984. We at the Reunion Steering Committee 84' have recieved many kind and thoughtful words about Tom from fellow graduates including his gentle nature, sense of fun, wisdom and kindness. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Mary and family Oonagh, Michael, Ruairi, grandchild Holly and extended family circle. TMcG
