The death has occurred of:
Thomas James (Jim) McCLUNG
The family of the late Thomas James (Jim) McClung, Ballymagowan Road, Clogher, wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.
We thank the management and staff at Copperfields Nursing Home, Aughnacloy for the care they provided over recent months; also the doctors and staff of both the Aughnacloy and Fivemiletown Health Centres for their help and assistance.
We appreciate the pastoral care provided by Rev Simon Anderson, from Aughnacloy Free Presbyterian Church, over the time of our bereavement, in the absence of our minister, Rev Peter McIntyre, and his conducting of the funeral services. We also thank Rev McIntyre for taking time to compose and send the video tribute and the members and friends of Clogher Valley Free Presbyterian Church for all their support and provision of refreshments after the funeral service.
Our appreciation also is due to the funeral directors, Fred Martin and sons, and to the grave digger for the professional and dignified way they carried out the funeral arrangements.
We wish to register our thanks to all the kind family, friends and neighbours who visited Jim during his illness, contacted the family members upon his death, called at the home, sent cards and messages, brought food to the home, attended the funeral, gave donations or helped in any other way. For those who travelled to be with us, your presence and prayers were greatly appreciated.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deep appreciation for all the kindness shown to the family.
Jim will be loved and remembered by his wife Lena; sons Brian (Lois) & Ian (Doreen); daughters Lorraine (David), Ruth (Gary) and Beulah (David) and the grandchildren Elisabeth (Matthew), Kerith, David, Grace, Zara-Jayne, Amy, Matthew, Hannah-Grace, Bethany, Ryan, Katie and Lauren.
…with Christ; which is far better, Philippians 1:23.
