Terence (Terry) Quinn

Quinn (Bessbrook, formerly Home Avenue, Newry) died 13th November 2022 peacefully at Our Mother of Mercy Nursing Home. Terence (Terry) loving husband of Angela and much loved father of Pauline, Roisin, Colm, Geoff and Eamon. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

His remains will be reposing at his home 1 Moninna Park, Bessbrook. Removal of remains on Wednesday at 10:30am for 11:00am funeral mass in The Church of the Good Shepherd, Cloughreagh. Burial afterwards in Carrickcruppen cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and wider family circle. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers if desired to Cancer Research, C/o Charles Digney & Sons Funeral Directors, 4 Sugarhouse Quay, Newry.

Sincere condolences on the passing of Terry. I knew him as a fellow steward in Croke Park - we were often in the same section in the Upper Hogan stand, and he was a lovely person - warm, friendly, and with a bit (or sometimes more than a bit) of mischievousness which led to much laughter. Deepest Sympathies Roisin, your Mam and the Quinn family on the passing of your dear dad & husband. Terry was truly one of nature's Gentlemen and a pleasure to be in his company even when he was up to his devilment.
