The family of the late Stephen Murray would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to everyone who sympathised with us and supported us following the recent loss of Stephen, a much-loved husband, father, granda, brother and uncle.
Thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent messages of condolence, Mass Cards and sympathy cards. We would also like to extend a special thank-you to the wider family circle, friends and neighbours who supported us throughout our loss, especially at the wake and funeral. Words cannot express how grateful we are for their kindness and generosity.
Sincerest thanks to Father Michael McCaughey for his prayers, comfort and guidance throughout, and for the beautifully fitting Requiem Mass. Also, to the sacristan for assisting Father Michael, the readers and to Eve, Sarah and Noah for bringing up the gifts. A huge thanks too to Kathryn Ellis and Laurence Quigg and Fidelma Legge for their beautiful singing and playing that added so much to the mass.
Thank you to the management, staff and carers at Rush Hall Limavady who looked after and cared for Stephen over the past year, and to the Acute Care Team who tended to him during his last days.
An enormous thank-you to all at W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the professional and dignified manner in which they conducted the funeral, and especially to Kieran and Noeleen for their kindness and support.
Thank you to the management and staff at Link 48 Bar and Restaurant, Derry, for their hospitality and for providing refreshments after the funeral.
We realise of course that it is impossible to thank everyone individually, but we hope that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our deepest appreciation and gratitude.
