Siobhan Giacomin (née Rigney)
It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Siobhan Giacomin née Rigney, peacefully at Culmore Manor Care Home on 27th December 2024.
Late of 250 Bishops Street and formerly of 10 Creggan Heights. May she rest in peace.
Beloved wife of the late Corrado. Devoted mother of Massimo. Precious daughter of the late Edward and Philomena Rigney. Loving sister of Kathleen, Eamonn, Daniel, Deirdre, Liam, Michael, Bridgeen, Patrick and the late Edward and Maura. A much loved sister-in-law and dearest aunt to all of her nieces and nephews. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends.
Siobhan’s remains will be reposing at her brother Eamonn’s residence, 9 Mulroy Gardens from 3pm this afternoon, Saturday 28th December. Funeral leaving from there on Monday 30th December at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
The wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
