The death has occurred of:
Sheila FERGUSON
We, the daughters of the late Sheila Ferguson (RIP), who died on 22nd November 2024, want
to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us and supported us during our recent
sad bereavement.
A heartfelt thanks to our family, friends and neighbours who supported us throughout this
difficult time. To all those who attended the wake and funeral, to those who joined the funeral
mass via the parish webcam and to those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards and messages
via social media and to those who telephoned we are incredibly grateful.
A special mention must go to our Uncle Colm for all the support he has given throughout.
We are incredibly grateful to Fr. Eugene O’Neill for his spiritual support, for celebrating
mummy’s funeral mass and for the very touching words spoken about mummy. Thanks also
to Fr. McCallion for his prayers at the graveside and to Canon Fee for his spiritual support.
To the fire service and the fire and rescue team who attended our home on the morning of
23rd November following the flood words cannot express enough how grateful we are for the
compassion, support and dignified manner in which you treated us as a family on what was a
traumatic and distressing morning and most importantly for the dignified manner in which
you ensured the safe removal of mummy’s remains.
To Peter and staff at Dorman Funeral Directors we offer our sincere thanks for the professional
and dignified way the funeral arrangements were conducted and for all the support and
guidance given throughout.
Many thanks to Roisin McGlinchey for the beautiful music and to the eucharistic minister, the
sacristan, and the grave digger.
Thank you to the doctors and staff of The Medical Centre, Barrack Street, and the staff of
O’Neill’s Pharmacy Coalisland.
Thanks also to Springisland Supermarket, Annagher Services and Seamus and Caroline Corr of
Berts Pizza for the food provided throughout the wake and to Brackaville GFC and Derrytresk
GFC for the use of their facilities. Thanks also to Clonoe and Coalisland SVDP for their support.
We also want to thank Aidan Fitzgerald for his help in transporting mourners to and from
Olga’s home.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone, please accept this acknowledgement as a token
of our appreciation.
