Sheila Margaret McFETRIDGE (née Morrison)

11th September 2024. Peacefully at Blair House Nursing Home. Late of Ardmore Gardens, Bangor, Belfast and Newtownards. Beloved wife of the late David McFetridge and deeply loved mum of Gillian. Devoted and adored nanny of Ruth and her husband Christopher.

Service in Bethany Baptist Church, Bangor, on Tuesday 17th September 2024 at 11.00 am. Funeral afterwards to Clandeboye Cemetery.

Donations may be sent, if desired to Hospital at Home (Ards Hospital) cheques made payable to “SEH&SC Trust”, c/o S. Clarke and Son Funeral Directors, 12 Court Square, Newtownards, BT23 7NY.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all the family circle.

I only met Sheila once but feel as though I knew her so very well! It was however through Gillian and Ruth that I came to understand how strong, determined, caring and resourceful a person she was. Sheila will be fondly remembered and very much missed by everyone who knew her, and her zest for life. It's refreshing to note that all these qualities contine to be generated by her daughter Gillian and her grand daughter Ruth, Sheila would be proud of the fact that her influence is very much alive with her offspring.
