PRESCOTT- The family of the late Sarah Ann (Sadie) Prescott wish to extend a heartfelt thanks to all those who have offered their sympathies during our recent bereavement.

Firstly, we wish to thank all of our family, friends and neighbours who kindly visited and supported Mummy through the challenging period of her illness. We cannot express enough how appreciated your presence was not just by the family, but by our beloved Mum herself.

Secondly, we must highlight our gratitude to the healthcare professionals who have cared for our Mum with the utmost dignity and respect. To the staff of Craigavon Area Hospital, in particular the Glenanne Unit and Ward 2 North, thank you for your exceptional care and attention. As well as the District Nursing team, the Palliative Care team, Gordon’s Chemist and the Moy Health Centre. But most of all thank you to the staff of Newry Hospice, who lovingly cared for our Mum right until the very end; making her final days of life those of comfort.

We also wish to extend a heartfelt appreciation to Aaron Colgan and Ian Mcdonald, who conducted our Mum’s funeral just as she had fondly requested. Aaron’s beautiful words both at the service and at the burial have provided great comfort and reassurance to our family.

We also must express our thanks to: Ahorey Gospel Hall for the use of the premises, Simply Good Catering for the lovely refreshments and Richard Emerson for preparing the burial ground.

With a special thanks to David Cranston, Funeral Director, Moy for conducting our Mum’s funeral in the most sincere and courteous manner. Maintaining our Mum’s pride and dignity until the very end.

But especially, thank you to all who attended the funeral service; visited the family home, sent cards and heartfelt messages as well as their kind donations to Southern Area Hospice.

It is impossible to thank everyone individually, however we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation for everyone involved in the end of Mummy’s life.

Sharon, Margaret, Robert & families.
