Robert (Roy) LATTA
The wife May, daughter Suzanne, son Graeme and the entire family circle of the late Robert (Roy) Latta wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
Heartfelt thanks to all the kind relatives, neighbours and friends who called at the family home, brought gifts, food, sent cards, letters, telephoned, sent messages, gave donations in lieu of flowers, attended the funeral or helped in anyway deep gratitude is extended.
Sincere thanks to the Nursing Staff in Altnagelvin Hospital Acute Stroke Ward for the care and compassion shown to Roy and our family throughout our time on the ward. Special note of thanks to deputy Sister Michaela also the paramedics from Altnagelvin Emergency Response Team who attended Roy at home.
Special word of thanks to our kind neighbour Gerard and his wife Mariad for their support and kindness also thanks to Karen at Woodside Café for providing the teas and food after the funeral service.
Heartfelt thanks to May’s sister Kay for her support and her daughter Gillian for all the help with the Tea’s at home during the wake. Thanks to May’s brother Mervyn for all the planning and arrangements during our sad bereavement and to brother-in-law Billy Cairns for his daily support to Roy during his time in Hospital.
Special thanks to Rev Canon Robert Boyd and Rev Nigel Cairns for their pastoral care during Roy’s illness and for conducting the funeral service in church and at the graveside.
Special word of thanks to David & Ruth Hay and Sons, Funeral Directors for the dignified and caring manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
