Ferguson – 9th April 2019, peacefully at home, 343 Drumrane Road, Dungiven Robert James, dearly loved father of Robert, William, Stephanie, David and Stacey, a devoted grand-father and a dear brother of Angela and Diana.

Funeral service in Bovevagh Presbyterian Church on Saturday 13th April at 2.00pm followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

House closed. Family and friends welcome to call at his sister Diana Dale’s home, 287 Ballyquin Road, Limavady.

This is a man that was incapable of hate in fact I've never heard him say a bad word about anyone. I myself ran about his farm when I was young, so did a lot of Burnfoot ones were anyone else would have hunted us he welcomed us in. He may have been an in unorthodox farmer but he got the job done and had fun doing it.

He will be sadly missed by the whole community but from the Maitland family, I can speak for us all when I say he'll be missed.
