The family of the late Rita Smyth would like to thank all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

To our family, friends and neighbours for all their kind help and support. Thank you to all who called at the family home, brought gifts of food, sent Mass/Sympathy cards, and attended the wake, funeral and viewed on webcam.

We would like to extend our thanks to Fr Kingsley Idoghor for visiting our family home and celebrating a beautiful funeral Mass. This brought comfort to our family during a difficult time.

A special thanks to Canon Denis McKinlay of Kilmegan Parish, Castlewellan, for officiating Rita's burial.

In Rita’s last weeks she received care from many doctors, nurses and healthcare staff. In particular, we would like to acknowledge the support of the GPs at High Street Surgery, the team at Craigavon Area Hospital, the District Nursing and Marie Curie teams and Rita’s sister-in-law Joanne.

We are also grateful for all the donations made in Rita’s memory to Cancer Focus Northern Ireland.

Rita's Month's Mind Mass will be on Sunday 22nd December at 9.00am at St Patrick’s Parish Church, Aghagallon.
