The death has occurred of:
Patrick Joseph (Joey) MCNALLY
The family of the late Patrick Joseph McNally (Joey) Ballynagilly, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our kind relations, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent bereavement.
Our sincere gratitude to Monsignor Curry, Fr. Hughes and Fr. McCann for their spiritual support and guidance and for celebrating Joey’s beautiful Requiem mass.
A special word of thanks to the Church Sacristan and Niamh McGlinchey for providing the lovely music and singing which made Joey’s funeral mass so special.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped care for Joey, especially the paramedics and the staff of Antrim Area Hospital.
We are indebted to all those who supported us, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, messages, floral tributes and expressed their condolences via telephone and social media. We appreciate those who made tea, brought food and assisted with car parking during the wake. Lissan hall committee, volunteers, Michael McElhatton and staff from the Greenvale hotel who provided and served the refreshments on the day. A word of gratitude to Stanley Bell and Sons for controlling the traffic on the morning of the funeral.
A special word of thanks to the gravedigger who prepared Joey’s resting place with great care and to all those who helped us in any way.
We would sincerely like to thank Niall Loughran funeral directors for their very efficient, dignified and professional manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements during these difficult times.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Joey’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Saturday 23rd September 2023 at 7.30pm in St. Michael’s Church Lissan and can be viewed on the link below.
