We, the family of the late Patrick James (Seamus) Murphy, would like to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised and supported us through the recent passing of our much loved husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, brother-in law and uncle.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way.
Heartfelt thanks to our neighbours in Tullagh Drive for their support, the Rock Community Hub, and to everyone who attended and helped out at the wake, sent Mass and sympathy cards, all those who phoned and sent messages of support.

Special thanks to the Parish priests Father Brian Slater, Father Lawrence Boyle and Father Brian McNally for their support in Seamus’ final days and their spiritual support to our family. Thank you also to Father Slater for conducting the Requiem Mass, the Sacristan and the Eucharistic Ministers, and to the many people who attended the Requiem Mass or joined us by webcam. Thank you to Margaret Anne Conlon and Eamonn McGarrity for their beautiful singing and music.

We would like to especially thank Joanna and Loughran Funeral Directors for their dignified, professional and respectful service and also to those who prepared Seamus’ final resting place.

Thank you to Michael McElhatton and staff of the Greenvale Hotel for the lovely refreshments provided after the funeral.

A special thank you to the staff of Oaks Family Practice, Cookstown, the staff of ward A1 Antrim Area Hospital, Dalriada Urgent Care, Northern Ireland Hospice, Marie Curie and Extra Care Carers for the care and kindness shown to Seamus during his illness. Thank you also to Allen’s Chemist and Gordons Chemist, Cookstown.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we, the Murphy Family, hope that this acknowledgement will be taken as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.

Seamus’ Month’s Mind Mass will be offered on Saturday 16th November at 6:00pm in Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown.
