Padraig “Eunan” McLaughlin
The family and partner of the late Eunan McLaughlin would like to thank everyone who extended their sympathy to us during our recent and sad bereavement.
Thank you to the Nursing Staff of Altnagelvin Intensive Care Unit, Clinical Lead Sr Ann Marie O’Dwyer, the Nursing Staff of Ward 41, Student Nurse Bronagh Parkes, Dr Peter Byrne, Dr Stewart Knox and all the staff of Feeny Health Centre , Declan, Cathy and the staff of Feeny Pharmacy for all their care and attention.
Thank you to everyone who called at the wake, and attended the funeral : many whom travelled long distances.
Thank you to all who brought Mass cards, sent sympathy cards, messages, phone calls, donated to KBRT, floral tributes and gifts of food.
We would like to mention Cathals Flowers, Lynch’s Spar, Dungiven & Eurospar, Dungiven
for their thoughtfulness.
We extend our thanks to Martin Myles for organising the parking at the funeral home and during the funeral cortege and to Eugene McDaid for his time and helping with the wake transport.
We are very grateful to Fr Kelly for his presence and prayers throughout and celebrating the Requiem Mass. We extend our thanks to Fr Micheál McGavigan, Fr Michael Canny and Fr McFaul for their blessings and visits to Eunan whilst in hospital. Also Fr David O’Kane and Monsignor Brian McCanny for calling at the wake.
A special thank you to Joelene Grieve and Martin Kealey for their beautiful singing and music during the Requiem Mass.
Thank you to Shane McLaughlin and Kevin Kelly for carefully preparing the final resting place.
Many thanks to Alison O’Neill for her kindness and providing the lovely funeral refreshments and also to Margaret Carton and the ladies at Fincairn Hall for their kindness of warmly facilitating the funeral tea.
A special thank you to Deborah, Eugene and Paddy for all their help and dedication in carrying out Eunan’s wake and funeral arrangements with great care and attentiveness.
Eunan’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Iskaheen, Co Donegal on Friday 15th September at 7.30pm.
