Oliver Mooney, Cairns, Cushendall.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them during their recent sad bereavement of Oliver.
Thank you to those who called at the house, telephoned, sent cards, messages, shared stories, memories and attended the funeral – especially those who travelled many miles to pay their respects.
Special thanks, must be given to all those who cared for Oliver, particularly the staff of Optimum Care group, the staff at the Glens Medical Centre, the District Nurses and the Causeway Hospital.
We are especially grateful to Father Whiteford for his support, comfort and for conducting the funeral service. Thanks also to all those involved in the funeral, especially the readers, and to Dora and Denise for the beautiful music. Our gratitude goes to Joe Cunning for preparing the grave.
Thanks to the Parish for the use of the Parish Hall, to Bradleys Filling station for providing the refreshments and our family and friends who helped to serve the refreshments in the hall.
To those family, friends and neighbours who supported the family with bringing goods, serving refreshments during the wake and those who supplied practical items for the wake - The Lurig Bar, Ruairi Og Hurling Club, and The Glens Vintage Club, NMG Utilities Ltd.
Also thanks to everyone who gave donations to Parkinson's UK in lieu of flowers it was greatly appreciated.
Finally, many thanks to DJM Robinson & Son Funeral Directors, who carried out their duties with professionalism, compassion, and dignity.
We trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
The month's mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 29th December 2024 at 11am in St Marys Church, Cushendall
