Michael Carberry

Michael’s wife Marie and his children, Caroline, Adrian, Raymond, and Lisa would like to express our deepest and sincere thanks to our extended family, friends, and neighbours and all of those who supported us during Michael’s illness, the time of his passing and following his death. We are eternally grateful for your support.

Thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral, who sent mass and sympathy cards, messages of condolences and floral tributes. We especially thank those who helped during the wake and funeral including those who brought food, helped with the parking, providing lifts to the house and to those who helped in any way.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all those who cared for Michael during his long illness, especially the carers who meant so much to Michael and Marie and who became part of our family. You will always remain in our hearts. We extend our gratitude to the staff of Willowbank Surgery and the Acute Care at Home team for the care and attention given to Michael during his illness.

We would like to thank the priests of the parish Fr O’Neill and Fr McCann, a special word of thanks to Fr Moore for celebrating a very personal funeral mass and for his support throughout Michael’s illness.

A special thank you to Patricia Hagan and Catherine Grimley for the beautiful music and singing at Michael’s funeral.
A heartfelt thank you to Eamon, Martin, and Patrick of EC Hughes Funeral Directors for the professional and compassionate way in which they attended to all of the arrangements during the wake and funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation, gratitude, and heartfelt thanks.
Michael’s month mind mass will be celebrated and St Mochua’s Church Derrynoose on Saturday 23rd November 2024 at 1pm.

And did you get what you wanted from this life, even so?
I did.
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved, to feel myself beloved on the earth.

Have you considered?
