We as the family of the late May Laughlin wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who called with us and sympathised during our recent very sad bereavement. We were overwhelmed by the kindness and support of so many who brought food, telephoned, sent cards, gave donations in lieu of the Faith Mission, came to the wake and funeral and helped us in a multitude of different ways.

Special thanks to the GPs in Loy Medical Centre, in particular Dr Hutton and Dr Flanagan, for their care and compassion during Mummy’s short illness. Thanks also to the community nurses who helped to look after Mummy at home and tried to keep her as comfortable as possible.

We would like to thank the Rev James Porter for conducting the funeral services, and to the Rev Ivor Smith, a lifelong friend, for his very fitting tribute to Mummy. Our sincere thanks to Margaret Mahood who played the organ and Frances Glasgow who played the piano, assisted by both David Glasgow on the guitar and Andrew Baird on the flute. A special word of thanks to Colin Glasgow for being on the sound desk and for putting together the beautiful photo tribute of Mummy, which we will forever treasure.
We were very grateful to the catering ladies of Orritor Presbyterian Church, in which Mummy was very involved over the years, for making the lovely food after the funeral.

Finally, thanks to Bryan and Carole Steenson for carrying out the funeral arrangements in such a kind, caring and dignified way.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
