We the family of the late Mary Ellen McManus would like to extend our most sincere thanks and gratitude to all who supported and sympathised with us on the sad loss of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who died on 12th December 2024.
We would like to thank all those who travelled to attend the wake and funeral, sent messages, sent mass or sympathy cards. Sincere thanks to all the staff at Ward 9, SWAH, Enniskillen and especially Gortacharn Nursing Home who cared for mum so attentively during her stay there.
A special word of thanks to Canon Jimmy, Fr. Gallagher, Canon Dawson and Fr. Hannigan for their constant spiritual care. Thanks to Fr. Gallagher for his guidance throughout the wake and for his very fitting homily about mum.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Ollie, Leo and Conor Swift for all their support, care and the professional manner in which they carried out the arrangements.
Thank you to Brenda Swift for the beautiful music.
We thank Heber McMahon GAA Club for the use of their hall, Glen Cawley for supplying the funeral refreshments and thank Rose and Mary Wray who organised the team of helpers that was required to make it possible for the food to be served.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deep gratitude and sincere appreciation.
Mary Ellen’s Month’s Mind will be celebrated on Saturday 11th January at 7pm in St. Mary’s Church, Brookeborough.
