The death has occurred of:
Marie (Ria) TAYLOR
We, the Taylor family, would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has given their kind support and condolences following the loss of our beloved Ria. We are grateful to those who stopped by at the home, sent flowers, mass cards, and brought in food. The generous help has meant a lot to us all at this immensely difficult time.
Special thanks to all those who took great care of Ria over the past year, including Dr. Maleek, the amazing oncology staff at Altnagelvin (whom Ria called her 'sons' and 'daughters'), district nurses and carers.
We would also like to give a huge thanks to Ria's friends and neighbours who stopped by for a chat and a cuppa, especially Ka, Paula, and Sally. We appreciate your friendship and support of Ria over the years.
Thanks to Fr. O'Donnell for visiting her frequently when she was unwell and conducting a touching mass in her memory, with extra thanks to the beautiful and talented singer.
Lastly, the family would like to thank W J O'Brien & Son for the respectful and dignified manner in which they arranged Ria's wake and funeral. It was befitting of her memory, and their guidance has been helpful, we cannot express our gratitude enough.
Ria's month's mind mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Galliagh on Thursday, 5th of September, at 7 o'clock.
