Laurence (Lornie) McMonagle
The partner and family of the Late Lornie McMonagle would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to those who sympathised with us on the loss of our special man by those attending the wake and funeral, travelling from far and near brought mass and sympathy card’s, telephoned and posted online.
Sincere thanks to everyone who brought gifts of food and floral tributes, to his next-door neighbour Jean McCarron and family for their constant support.
A special thanks to Eddie Dobbins and Tony McCauley his two lifelong friends who filled his nights in the hospital with laughter and resinising’s of the good old days.
We would also like to thank Fr Sean O’Donnell for his visits to the hospital and the special way he captured Lornie’s life at the requiem mass.
To Erin Carlin and Isobel for the beautiful singing and music.
We remain grateful to Carr Family Undertakers for the respectful and professional way they dealt with Lornie’s funeral.
Finally our sincere thanks to Dr Stewart and the staff of the Northwest Cancer Centre all the staff of ward 50 for their devotion and tender loving care of Lornie and the support given to us during this very difficult time, we will always be eternally grateful.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere, heartfelt gratitude.
