Kevin’s wife Angela, and their extended family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to our family, friends and neighbours, and to everyone who offered their support during Kevin’s illness, and over the past few weeks as we mourned the passing of our beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude is extended to those who called to the family home, offered words of comfort and shared stories and memories of Kevin which helped us smile and brought us much comfort. To those who sent messages of condolence, attended the funeral in person or online, gave donations in lieu of flowers, provided food, served refreshments during the wake or helped in any other way your kindness and support was greatly appreciated.
Sincere thanks to the staff at Bradley’s Pharmacy and Lynch’s Eurospar, Trench Road, your ongoing support during Kevin’s illness, and generosity during the wake was very much appreciated.
We would like to extend a special thanks to Dr Abdulkhalek and the Oncology Team at the North West Cancer Centre, the District Nursing Team at Park Medical, The Foyle Hospice Home Care Team, Dr Kelly-Ann Sweeney and Palliative Care Nurse Specialists Caroline and Mairead, The Marie Curie Nursing Service and also to Rosie, Western Trust Carer, who looked after Kevin in his final weeks with such dedication, compassion, and dignity.
Special thanks to Fr Patrick Lagan for his words of comfort and for the beautiful and personal funeral service which was very much appreciated by the entire family circle. Thanks to Erin and Roman for the beautiful singing/music and to all who participated in the funeral mass.

It would be impossible to thank everyone individually and we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.
The Months Mind Mass for Kevin will be celebrated on Wednesday 8th January at 7.30pm in St Columb’s Church Chapel Road.
