Kevin FALCONER
The family of the late Kevin Falconer would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all our kind relatives, friends, colleagues, and neighbours who sympathised, supported, and comforted us since Kevin’s passing. Kevin was a much-loved husband, father, father-in-law, granda, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.
We greatly appreciate all those who called at our home, telephoned, sent messages, Mass cards, Sympathy cards, brought food, provided resources, helped in any way during the wake, sent floral tributes, lined the route of the funeral cortege, attended the funeral, or travelled long distances to be with us, your kindness and generosity will always be remembered.
Sincere thanks to all the staff in Ward 3 and the ICU of Altnagelvin Hospital, who cared for and looked after Kevin during his time in hospital. We thank Father Lagan and Father McFaul (Hospital Chaplains, Altnagelvin) for their pastoral care to Kevin and for their support to us as a family. To Fr Colhoun and Fr McCawille for con celebrating the Requiem Mass and to Fr Donnelly, Fr Doherty, Fr McElhennon, Fr McGeehan, Fr Canning and Fr Gormley for their prayerful support to us. To all those who took part in the Funeral Liturgy, to the Sacristan, and to Bridgeen Tully and her accompanist who provided the beautiful music. To the staff and pupils of Christ the King PS, and the staff of B McNamee & Co Ltd for the Guard of Honour; and all those who helped with traffic arrangements, thank you.
To Paul and Pauline Gallagher for their help and support and for the professional manner in which all the funeral arrangements were carried out; and to the gravedigger who prepared Kevin’s final resting place, we are extremely grateful.
It is not possible to thank everyone individually, however we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
May Kevin Rest in Peace and the Immaculate Heart of Mary pray for him.
Kevin’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Eugene’s Church, Glenock on Sunday 8th December at 11.30am.
