The death has occurred of:
Joyce O'Hara (née Shaw)
The family of the late Joyce O’Hara (née Shaw) wishes to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all family, friends, and neighbours who supported us during this difficult time. We are deeply thankful to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, and to those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, gifts, or made kind phone calls to our home.
A special word of thanks to Joyce’s devoted sister, Donna, for her unwavering care during Joyce's illness, and to the motorcycle community for their thoughtful and sentimental tribute.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Father Brian Fitzpatrick, PP, for the beautiful Requiem Mass, and for his spiritual guidance and support. We are also grateful to all who contributed to the celebration of the Mass, and to Niamh Murray for her beautiful singing all of which contributed to a very moving celebration.
Our thanks go to McAlinden and Murtagh Funeral Directors and their dedicated team for the professional, compassionate, and dignified handling of all arrangements.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere token of our gratitude.
Joyce's Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Derrymacash, at 11:00 am on Sunday, 22nd December.
Her legacy will live on through her beloved grandsons, and she will forever remain in our hearts.
