Skelton, Joseph (Joe), 25th August 2024.

We the family of the late Joe Skelton R.I.P. wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks, to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or Sympathy Cards and to those who left messages via social media. Thank you to all who called at the wake, who brought food and helped in any way.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Canning for his spiritual support and the very comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers and Teresa Duggan who provided the beautiful music. A special word of thanks to Fr. Joe Gormley and Fr. Francis Bradley for their spiritual support.
We also wish to thank all the healthcare team at Dr. Ritchie’s Surgery, the District Nurse Team and the staff in Ward 5, Altnagelvin Hospital for their care.
Thank you to Sean O’Kane & Sons Funeral Directors and the gravediggers for the professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Thanks also to St. Patrick’s Hall and team for the refreshments after mass. Also, a word of thanks for the donations received which will go to Care for Cancer and St. Patrick’s Church, Drumquin.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our sincere gratitude.

Joe’s months mind mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Church, Langfield, Drumquin on Sunday 29th September 2024 at 11.00a.m.
