The family of the late John Joe Taggart RIP wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement. We wish to express our gratitude to our kind family, friends and John Joe’s wonderful neighbours for their help and support throughout the wake & funeral. We thank all those who attended the wake, funeral mass, sent mass & sympathy cards, sent messages of condolence, sent floral tributes and brought food & refreshments to the wake.
Our heartfelt thanks to Canon Benny Fee, Fr John McCallion and Deacon Kevin Duffy for their support and celebrating the funeral mass. Thanks also to Monsignor Colum Curry, Father Gerard Tremer, Fr Peter O’Neill, Fr Peter McAnenly and Fr Eugene O’Neill for their condolences. We wish to thank the carers who attended daddy with such kindness during his illness. Thanks to Roisin & Emmet for her beautiful singing at the funeral mass and Raphael for piping. We are grateful to Patsy Taggart Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and also to the grave diggers. We thank Kelly Anne Corr & her staff at The Kitchen Catering and the staff at Clonoe Community Centre for the funeral reception. We thank the local businesses; Bert’s Pizzas, Doorstep Restaurant, Lowe Bros, Springisland, Newell Stores, Forbes’ Spar, Dorrity’s Annagher, Ryandale, Rolo Sports, The Loft and Saint Vincent De Paul for their kindness during the wake. A special thanks to the members of Clonoe O’Rahilly’s for their stewarding of the wake and for the touching guard of honour for John Joe’s final journey.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation to all who supported us in our time of mourning. John Joe’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday 10th June at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church, Clonoe.
