The death has occurred of Jimmy (James) Keenan, Gola Irish, Scotstown, Co. Monaghan, Monday April 12th, peacefully in the loving care of his family at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his sister Mary McMahon. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret and much loved father of Martin (Annette), Hugh (Karen), Gerard, Dominic (Paula), Teresa (Declan), Stephen (Orla), Damien (Barbara), Paula (Simo) and Mairead. Devoted grandfather of Darragh, Bláthnaid, Saoirse, Jack, Grace, Katelyn, Ellen, James, Conor, Adam, Zakaria and loving brother of Margaret Treanor.

Reposing at his home until removal on Thursday morning at 10.15am to arrive at St. Mary's Chapel, Urbleshanney for 11am funeral mass. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private to family and relatives. Jimmy's funeral mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family. Funeral mass can be viewed on Tydavnet Parish RC Churches facebook page. Anyone wishing to pay their respects may do so as the funeral cortège travels to the chapel on Thursday morning (via Gola Hill) adhering to current guidelines and social distancing.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sister, sister-in-law Agnes Kelly, nieces, nephews and entire family circle.
