It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, James Forsythe Brown who left us on 2nd January 2025. He was 92 years old and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
James was a cherished member of our family, known for his kindness, sense of humor, cycling, and love of music. He dedicated his life to his family, colleagues and friends.
He is very affectionately remembered by his beloved daughter Margaret Anne and husband Cecil, Son-In-Law Stephen and Daughter-in-Law Julie. His grandchildren; Anna-Louise and husband Colin, Samuel and wife Gemma, Maria and husband Colin, Nathanuel, Emma, John and wife Sarah-Jane, Grace and Jamie. His great-grandchildren; Claire, Chloe, Megane, Tammy-Lee, Jodie, Ethan, Tylor, Joshua, Ruby, Christian, Teddy, Violet, and friends Brenda and John. He was a source of strength and inspiration to us all, and his legacy will live on in our hearts.
A funeral service will be held on Friday 10th January at 9:15am, at Holywood Parish Church. After the service, a burial will take place at Roselawn Cemetery at 10:20am. Following the committal family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating his life and sharing fond memories at La Mon Hotel and Country Club for a breakfast buffet.
