The family of the late Hugh Cushnahan (RIP) wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with and supported us during our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful for all the prayers, mass, sympathy cards and messages we received. We send our gratitude to the many that attended the wake and funeral. To our family, friends and neighbours we thank you for your support and help during Daddy’s illness. We are eternally grateful to the members of Derrylaughan GAC for their support and for the guards of honour in acknowledgement of Daddy’s life long commitment to the GAA club and community. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Millar and the staff at Stewartstown Health Centre, MacMillan Nursing team, district nurses, carer Briege, and to the Marie Curie nurses for their compassionate care.

We also wish to thank Father John McCallion for his heartfelt celebration of the Requiem Mass and to Aisling, Blaithin and Colm for the beautiful music during the ceremony. Finally thanks to all at Patsy Taggart Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually and we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.

The month mind Mass for Hughie will be celebrated on Thursday 9th January at 7.30pm in St Brigid’s Church, Brocagh.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul
