Heron (Cookstown) April 22nd 2020 Hugh Ignatius R.I.P. Beloved husband of the late Margaret R.I.P. Dear father of Colin and Simon. Father in law to Claire and Grandfather to Lily, Anna, Heidi and Jacob.

Funeral leaving his late residence on Saturday 25th for 11.00am requiem mass in Holy Trinity Church. Interment afterwards in Forthill Cemetery. Deeply regretted by his son’s, daughter in law, Simon’s partner Sara, Grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and the entire family circle and many friends.

Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Due to the on going Coronvirus the wake and funeral strictly private.

The family of the late Ignatius wish to thank family and friends for all their kindness and support following our sad loss. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends and neighbours who lined the streets to say goodbye, who had us in their thoughts, those that joined us for dad's mass online and to Father Boyle for the service to celebrate his life. Thankyou to SonLight for the beautiful singing and music.

A special word of thanks to all the staff at Antrim Area Hospital, Oaks Family Practice Cookstown and Woodlands Beacon Centre for all the care they gave to him. To Kieran Kirk Funeral Director and staff for their professionalism throughout and to the grave diggers for their service.

Ignatius's months mind mass will be lived streamed from Holy Trinity Church Cookstown at 10:30am mass Sunday 24th May (link below).
