BARR, GORDON – passed away 25th May 2024, peacefully, in the Ulster Hospital, Ward 4B, where he was so wonderfully cared for.

Dearly loved and devoted husband of Elizabeth, loving dad of Caroline and Gary, very proud popa of Matthew, Joseph, Patrick and Lauren, great-popa of Annabelle, dearest cousin of Norma, and greatly respected father-in-law of Mark and Kay.

A Celebration of Gordon’s life will be held on Friday, 31st May at 3:30pm in James Brown & Sons, 719 Upper Newtownards Road, Rosepark, Dundonald, BT4 3NU.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to NI Children’s Hospice or Macular Society, online at jamesbrownfuneraldirectors.com (Tributes & Donations).

Sadly missed by all.

So very, very sorry to hear of cousin Gordon's passing. Always enjoyed our visits together and he was always so helpful organizing our trips, picking us up from the airport, taking us sightseeing, out on the boat, just so very kind and thoughtful. Always lots of fun and laughter.

Michael and I are so very sad and sorry to hear of Gordon's passing. We had some good times when he would visit us in Georgia. He was aways very kind and would help in any way he could when our family members came home to Belfast for a visit. He had a great sense of humor and he will be greatly missed.
