Acknowledgement – Gerry McMoran, formerly of Fintona, Co Tyrone. Died 3rd December 2024
We the family of the late Gerry McMoran would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Gerry was a widely respected gentleman and a dearly loved partner, father, brother, brother in law, uncle, cousin and friend.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, or flowers, and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home, brought food or helped, this was greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the requiem Mass.
Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours, for their immense support, which helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan C.C. for his spiritual support and the very comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan, the Altar Servers and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singer Louise Coyle, who provided the beautiful, reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which, the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy, for preparing Gerry’s final resting place.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Gerry is ever loved and sadly missed, may his kind, generous, gentle soul be granted peace and eternal rest. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 4th January 2024 at 6.00pm. Our Lady pray for him.
