3rd May 2024. Peacefully at hospital, aged 94 years. Formerly of 38 Benson Street, Lisburn. Much loved and loving brother of Valerie and Tommy, dear brother in-law of the late Billy (Thompson).

A Service will be held in Ronnie Thompson’s Funeral Church, 20 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, BT28 1UF on Thursday 9th May at 3pm followed by a strictly private cremation.

No flowers please. Donations, if desired, online via www.ronniethompson.co.uk, or cheques payable to N.I. Children’s Hospice c/o Ronnie Thompson Funeral Directors, (address as above).

Saddened to hear this news. Gerald was a gentleman whom I and many others held in the highest esteem. He was for many years a director at Barbour Threads Ltd., Hilden Mill, Lisburn, and on behalf of his many colleagues of that era, some of whom have gone before, I just want to say it was a privilege to have known him.
