The family of the late Francis McGirr (RIP) would like to express our sincere appreciation to all who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement.
We would like to express thanks to all the healthcare professionals who were so attentive and kind in their care of Francis in recent years and in particular in his last days.
We are grateful to all who attended Francis’ wake and funeral and offered their condolences.
Thanks to our friends and neighbours who generously provided practical assistance throughout the wake and funeral period.
Thank you to the parish clergy for their guidance to Francis throughout his life and to the priests who concelebrated his Requiem Mass.
We also wish to express our appreciation to the gravediggers, Sacristan, Eucharistic Ministers, Harmonise choir and traditional musicians (their music and song greatly added to the funeral liturgy) and the Parish Catering Committee.
We wish to thank Pat McAtee and his team for their professional and sensitive handling of the funeral arrangements.
Please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our deepest gratitude.
The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Francis’ Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, the 9th of November at 7pm in Saint Davog’s Church, Dromore, Co Tyrone.
