The family of the late Father Charles McCann wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours who helped them through this difficult time. We also appreciate the outpouring of love and support shown by Fr Charlie’s friends in Washington DC and Maryland. Thank you so much.

Thank you to all Priests, friends, neighbours and parishioners from local parishes who attended Fr Charlie’s wake in St Michael’s Church.

Thank you to Arch Bishop Eamon Martin and Canon Benny Fee and other priest friends who visited and supported Fr Charlie in Ashbrook Nursing Home.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to Dympna and all the staff in Ashbrooke for their care, patience and attention to Fr Charlie.
A special thank you to Cardinal Sean Brady and all other priests and seminarians who attended Fr Charlie’s funeral. A special word of gratitude to Monsignor Colum Curry and to Fr Paddy Hughes, who concelebrated, the beautiful requiem mass.

Thank you to the musicians, church sacristans and to John who prepared Fr Charlie’s resting place. Our sincere gratitude to Coleen and John from Loughran Funeral Directors for their caring, compassionate and professional manner in which they carried out and guided us through the funeral preparations and arrangements.

Thank you to Michael McElhatton and staff in Greenvale Hotel for providing refreshments after the funeral.

Holy Mass will be offered for all your intentions

Father Charlies Months Mind will be celebrated on Monday 5th of August at 7.30pm in St Michaels Church Lissan and will be available to view on webcam.
