Died Saturday 7th January, 2023 peacefully in hospital, surrounded by his family.
Beloved husband of Linda, loving father to Kelly and Lauren, father-in-law to David and Larry.
Devoted grandfather to John and Teddy.

Funeral service on Wednesday 11th January 2023 at 1.30pm in Drumbo Holy Trinity Church, 107 Ballylesson Road, Ballylesson, Belfast BT8 8JT. Followed by interment at Blaris Cemetery, Lisburn.

John was a strong supporter of the International Pragmatics Association (for which he served as Treasurer for many years). He will be greatly missed by his many international colleagues and friends.
