We, the family of the late Eileen (Nellie) Deery, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered us support and sympathy on our recent and sad loss of our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Thank you to all who called at our home, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and messages, brought food, donated to St Vincent de Pau and helped at the wake. For those who travelled far to be with us – your kindness and prayers were greatly appreciated.

We would like to thank Fr Noel McDermott both for his prayers and support throughout the wake and for the lovely genuine words when speaking about Mummy at the Requiem Mass and thanks to Fr Colhoun C.C. who helped officiate at the funeral.

A special thanks to Aine Devine for the beautiful choice of hymns which brought us much comfort throughout the Mass.

Thanks to the staff of Curran’s Bakery, Greysteel for providing the catering after the funeral.

We would like to thank the doctors and staff of Eglinton Medical Centre and Dr Duffy, Great James Street Health Centre. A special word of thanks to the Carers for their weekly visit, especially Helen and Claire. Thank you to Sheila and Mary who did Mummy’s hair over the years – we really appreciate everything you did.

Thank you to Kieran and staff at W J O’Brien & Son funeral directors, Eglinton, for their guidance and professionalism in handling Mum’s funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation for all the kindness shown to our family.

Eileen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale on Saturday 31st August 2024 at 5 pm.

Immaculate Heart of Mary pray for her.
