We the family of the late Damien Donnelly, 13 Ackinduff Park, Cabragh and
Horseshoe House, Brantry would like to express sincere thanks and heartfelt
appreciation to all those who offered their condolences following the loss of our
beloved brother, uncle, nephew and friend Damien.

Thank you to our families, neighbours and friends who called at the wake, those
who left Mass and Sympathy cards, made and brought food, served teas, managed
parking and helped in any other way. Particular thanks to Sean Ward for the lighting,
Spar Benburb, Spar Eglish and Country Fry Eglish, Dam Busters and Scouts for
clearing flood blocked roadway to allow passage of the funeral cortege and The
Hungry Goat, Dyan for the beautiful meal after the funeral.

Thanks also to Craigavon Area Hospital, Parkview Surgery, Dr Aine Mc Geary, Nigel
at Gordons Chemist, Moy, District Nursing Team, Marie Curie, Macmillan and the
excellent Brantry Domiciliary Team – your kindness, care and attention will not be
forgotten.

We wish to extend a special word of thanks to Shirley for the special care and
attention afforded to Damien in the last weeks of his life and for welcoming
everyone into the family home.
A heartfelt thanks is extended to Kate Mc Aleer, Funeral Director, Peter Murphy and John Donaghy for their
professional and caring handling of the funeral arrangements.

A special word of thanks to Fr Heagney, Eglish for his pastoral care in Damien’s final
weeks and Fr Hannigan for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thanks also to
the readers and musicians who made the Mass so special and a fitting tribute to
Damien. A word of thanks also to the grave diggers for their diligence despite the
extreme weather conditions.

It is impossible to thank everyone individually but we trust that this
acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation and thanks
for all your help and support. It is deeply appreciated.

Damien’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 21 st December 24 at
7pm in St Joseph’s Church, Ackinduff.
