Ken and Liz, with their young family, came to Kinsale, Co. Cork in 1987 whereupon he became actively involved in Kinsale Rugby Club. Ken was a prominent and respected Journalist with the Cork Examiner for some years before returning home and joining UTV.
Ken’s most valuable contribution towards developing the Club included coaching, administration and as co-founder of the Kinsale Rugby Sevens. He also became Club President and his accomplishments were ‘tour de force’.
Ken’s friends here in Kinsale Rugby Club hold him with great esteem and affection and wish to express their deep sympathy to Liz, children Gareth, Sarah, Sophie, the grandchildren and to the extended family.
