The family and friends of the late Caroline Doherty would like to gratefully thank all who paid their respects and gave comfort at the passing of their friend, mother, grandmother and sister. Thank you to her friends and neighbours who called to the family home, sent cards and attended the funeral.

Sincere thanks to Ward 41 and Ward 26 for all of their care of Caroline. We do not have the words to express how much their exceptional care of her meant to us.

Special thanks to Father Daniel McFaul for his pastoral care of Caroline in her last days and the wonderful service. Thanks also to Lauren and Beth for the beautiful music.

Thanks to Noeleen and Kieran from W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the dignified and professional manner with which they helped us through this most difficult of times.

Thank you to the Tasty Reel for providing refreshments after the internment, and to Da Vinci’s and Sackville Bakery for the selection of food offered for the wake. We appreciate your help, especially with such short notice.

Thank you to Flowers by Ian for the bespoke floral arrangements, they were beautiful and greatly appreciated.

Finally, thank you all who donated to Macmillan Cancer Support in Caroline’s memory, and all those who supported Caroline’s fundraising for them throughout the years.

Caroline’s Month’s Minds mass will be held on Tuesday 28th May 2024 at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Creggan.
