The death has occurred of:
Canon Brendan BEAGON
The family of the Late Canon Brendan Beagon wish to thank their relatives, friends and neighbours who gave them such comfort and support following their recent sad bereavement. Special thanks to all who attended the Requiem Mass, the Interment, the Removal, The Divine Mercy Prayers, telephoned, sent Mass and Sympathy Cards, letters and flowers, sent donations to The Society Of St. Vincent De Paul, placed insertions in the Irish News and helped in any way. Your expressions of Sympathy have been a great source of comfort to our family.
Our gratitude to Bishop Alan and the Priests and Religious Of Our Diocese who offered their Prayerful Support at this sad time. Thanks too to Fr. Patrick Sheehan, Canon Aidan Kerr, Rev Kieran Hunt and Parishioners of St. Mary’s On The Hill Parish for their kind welcome and supportive assistance. We also appreciate the support and kindness of the Parishioners, of the many Parishes, in which Brendan served as a priest of our Diocese.
Our family deeply appreciated the music and singing of St. Bernard’s Choir, which was both uplifting and contributed much to the Liturgy. We also thank those in the Cursillo Community for their participation in the Liturgy of Divine Mercy.
Our sincere gratitude to the staff in Wards 6E & 6F of The Royal Victoria Hospital for their professionalism and care of Canon Brendan in his final illness.
Finally, we are indebted to Hugh O’Kane & Co Funeral Directors for the professional, dignified and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Their thoughtfulness was much appreciated by our family.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this Acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a mark of our appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your Intentions.
Month’s Mind Mass for Canon Brendan will be celebrated in St. Bernard’s Church on 1st June 2024 at 10.00A.M.
