Bridget (Bríd) McCool (née Brown)
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Bridget (Bríd) McCool née Brown, peacefully at home on 29th May 2024.
Late of 13 Inveroe Gardens and formerly of Linsfort Drive. May she rest in peace.
Dearest wife of the late Patrick (Finn). Beloved mother of Jean, Danny and Martina. Loving granny of Rachel, Catherine, Mia, Reuben and Reece. A much loved great-granny of Finn, Cillian and Kane. Devoted sister of Roy, Theresa, Peggy, Jean, Sadie and Thomas. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Bríd’s remains will be reposing at her daughter Martina’s home, 13 Inveroe Gardens from 2pm this afternoon, Thursday 30th May. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday 1st June at 11:20am for 12pm Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
