Month’s mind acknowledgement for the late Brian Ward.

Brian’s wife Pauline, together with his sisters and extended family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.

Thank you to Brian’s many friends and neighbours who called with him during his illness. To all those who called to our home, sent cards, messages of sympathy, brought food or helped in any way during the wake we extend our sincere thanks. To all those who attended the Requiem mass or viewed online, thank you.

Thanks to the Medical and District Nursing Staff of Clough Surgery and Pharmacy, Ulster Hospital Dundonald, NI Hospice and Marie Curie who attended Brian, for their amazing care, kindness and compassion during his illness, we are forever grateful. To the Lydian Care team for the excellent care provided to Brian, we thank you.

A very special thank you to Canon Denis McKinley, for attending to Brian during his illness, and to the bereavement team who called to the house. To Fr John Joe Cunningham and Deacon Mark Lenaghan for celebrating the lovely Requiem Mass. To the Eucharist Minister and all who assisted with the funeral mass, and Terry Cowan for the beautiful singing and music during the service, we thank you.

Sincere thanks to Peter Doran Funeral Directors for the professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Our grateful thanks to Slieve Croob Community First Responders for providing a Guard of Honour at the Chapel and to Brian Travers who organised the display of vintage cars.

Thanks to the staff and management of the Burrendale Hotel, Newcastle, for the food and refreshments after the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our sincere gratitude.

Brian’s Months Mind Mass will take place this coming Saturday 28th September at 6.30pm in St. Malachy’s Church, Kilcoo.
