The death has occurred of:
Brian Hamill
The family of the late Brian Hamill would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our extended family, friends, and neighbours for their kindness, sympathy, support and generosity at this difficult time. A special thank you to the Acute Care Team, all district nurses, Eglish Carers and Marie Curie team for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Brian during his illness.
We are especially grateful to those who attended Brian’s wake, funeral, sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers, gifts or shared comforting words and memories.
In particular we’d like to thank Fr. Thomas McHugh for the lovely service, Thomas Hamill for beautiful singing and music, Johnny Fee for providing the horse drawn hearse, Dr. Luke Sherry for supplying seating/refreshment facilities, Quinn’s Corner for their exceptional catering of the wake and funeral, Paudge Quinn (E.Quinn & Sons Funeral Directors) for his professionalism and compassion, and to Jerome Hamill, for everything.
A huge thank you to everyone who generously donated their time and resources to help with the wake and funeral in any way. We unfortunately can’t thank every individual, but rest assured your kindness will not be forgotten.
As a token of our appreciation, the Month’s Mind Mass for Brian will be celebrated on Sunday, 24th November 2024, at 11am in Eglish Chapel. All are welcome to join us in remembering and praying for Brian.
