EDGAR, Barrie Adam, September 15th 2021 (peacefully at home) surrounded by his loving family dearly loved husband of Anita, Blackwatertown Road, Armagh. Beloved son of Winston and the late Judy, loving brother of Karen, Mark and Brian also a dear step-son of Gaye.

The funeral cortege will leave his late residence on Saturday at 1.15 p.m. to Clonfeacle Parish Church, Benburb for service at 2 p.m. (numbers restricted) followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard.

The Cortege will proceed from the family home via Moy Road Armagh, Moy village and Benburb Road arriving at Benburb.

House private, no flowers please, donations if desired payable to Marie Curie c/o Alan Wray & Co. Funeral Directors, “The Old Meeting House”, 24a, Portmore Street, Portadown BT62 3NG.

Lovingly remembered by his wife and all the family circle.

A great sadness has descended upon us. We were lucky enough to enjoy the company of Barrie and Anita for a couple of weeks each year in Lanzarote. Barrie was a kind, canny, hardworking man and a generous human being. Loved by many and will be missed by all.
I cannot imagine the loss Anita and Winston and close family must feel now.
“Those that live on in the heart of others never truly die”.

No words can really express the loss of Barrie or describe the man he was.
I was lucky enough to know Barrie through work and personally. He always came across as a kind and pleasant person and would do his best for you in any way he could. Barrie and Brian made a great team and were a pleasure to work with. He bore his illness with tremendous courage and I know his loss to his family is hard to bear.
