Barney McGaughey
Mc Gaughey Barney, Fintona, Co Tyrone, formerly of 2 Church Street, Fintona BT78 2BR died peacefully at his daughter Allison’s residence on the 27th October 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Sally. Treasured father of Allison Slaine (Paul), Barney, Terence and the late Andy and David. Loving and devoted grandfather to his 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Cherished brother of Ann, Angela and the late Josie, Patrick, Jane, Francis, Denis, Michael, Alice, Ita and Philomena.
Barney will be reposing in Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona, BT78 2BY from 2pm until 9pm on Tuesday 29th October.
Barney will leave Grianan House Funeral Home at 10.20am on Wednesday 30th October for 11am requiem Mass in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, Barney will travel from the Carnalea Road, along Church Street, Main Street, Tattymoyle Road and the Lisdergan Road to arrive at St Lawrence’s Church at 10.50am.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving daughter, sons, son in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends.
