The wife Sylvia, sons Paul and Leonard, daughters Yvette, April, Heather, Laura and entire family circle of the late Drew Downey, wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
Heartfelt thanks to all the kind relatives, friends and neighbours who called at the family home, brought gifts, sent cards, letters, telephoned, gave donations in lieu of flowers, attended the funeral or helped in anyway deep gratitude is extended.
Grateful thanks to Doctor McCartan of Riverfront Medical, Doctors and Nurses at Waterside Hospital (Ward 4) District Nurses of Donemana Health Centre, Nurses of Foyle Hospice for all their support, kindness and medical attention shown to Drew.
Special word of thanks to the Rev. Canon David McBeth, Rev. Canon Stewart Downey, Rev. Andréa Cotter and the Rev. Arthur Burns for conducting the funeral service in the church and at the graveside.
Special thanks to David and Ruth Hay & Sons, Funeral Directors for the dignified and caring manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
